Nevada Legal Services (NLS) has an opening for a part-time Social Media Coordinator in our Las Vegas office. NLS is a statewide non-profit that provides free legal assistance to low income Nevadans.
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all of Nevada Legal Services media operations, including our social media sites, website, press releases and press relations, newsletters and other printed PR materials. Additionally, this person will work with staff responsible for creating the content for the various media outlets and will make recommendations for improving our media operations and media outreach.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Degree of secondary education/college desirable
- Creating and maintaining social media sites.
- Maintaining websites.
- Press relations or creation of press relations.
- Creation of PR documents, such as newsletters and brochures.
- Salary DOE – $16-$26 per hour
- Part-time – 25 hours per week.
- Paid sick and vacation leave.
